Our Founder
Rashonbah T. Rogers, MSN, RN
Founder and executive steward of TamiaJoy's Nursing with Care, and of the TAMIA Promise that governs every engagement our nursing team delivers.

Clinical judgment, set as an organizational standard
Rashonbah T. Rogers holds a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) and is a licensed Registered Nurse (RN). She founded TamiaJoy's Nursing with Care to bring that clinical training directly into childcare, Head Start, Early Head Start and early-learning organizations, where health and safety systems are often built and maintained by staff without a clinical background.
As Founder and executive steward, Rashonbah sets the clinical standards, the review methodology and the TAMIA Promise that every engagement is measured against. TamiaJoy's Nursing with Care is a nursing-led consulting organization. Engagements are delivered by our team of licensed nursing professionals under the standards set by our Founder.
Why she founded the organization
Our licensed nursing professionals help organizations identify gaps, strengthen staff competency and build systems designed to protect children before an emergency happens.
Rashonbah does not believe a consultant's job ends when a report is delivered. Programs stall on implementation, not on lacking information, which is why follow-up and reassessment are built into the TamiaJoy's process rather than sold as an add-on.

A team of licensed nursing professionals, one standard
TamiaJoy's Nursing with Care is a nursing-led consulting organization, not a single practitioner. Every review, training and screening day is carried out by licensed nursing professionals held to the same standard, regardless of who is assigned or which site is being reviewed.
Rashonbah's role is to design that standard, train the nurses who apply it, and remain the final word on quality across the organization, so a multi-site network receives the same rigor at its smallest location as at its flagship.

A real office, a real team, a documented standard
Clients are working with an established organization. Engagements are scheduled, staffed and documented from our office, with assigned nursing leads, written reports and a records trail your licensing body can follow.
That structure is what allows the same standard to hold whether we are reviewing one classroom or a network of centers across several counties.
The Leader I Needed Is the Leader I Became
A memoir on leadership, healing and the cost of caring without protection

Rashonbah's story begins in a hospital bed as a child and moves through bedside nursing, motherhood and healthcare executive leadership. The book traces what she learned in each of those rooms about compassion, emotional safety and what leadership does to the people who receive it.
Leadership is not neutral. It either builds people or it breaks them.
Compassion and emotional safety
Burnout and betrayal
Leadership philosophy is not separate from the clinical work
Trust, Accountability, Mindset, Intentional Leadership and Advocacy are the same principles Rashonbah applies to setting the standard for this organization and to advising the leadership teams we work with.
