Readiness checklists you can use today

These checklists reflect the areas TamiaJoy's reviews most often. They are a starting point for self-assessment, not a substitute for a full nurse-led review.

Review areas

How these checklists map to a full review

Emergency Medication Readiness

Is epinephrine, albuterol or seizure rescue medication reachable in the seconds it would be needed, including outdoors and off site?

Documentation

Administration logs, provider plans, consents, signatures, dates and the review process that keeps them current.

Staff Preparedness

Who is trained, who is validated, who is scheduled with the child, and whether those three lists match.

Infection Prevention

Handwashing, diapering, disinfection contact time, exclusion decisions and daily health observation.

Emergency Planning

Role assignments, EMS communication, drills, family notification and plan accessibility in every room.

Field Trips & Transportation

Health packs, medication travel, ratios, emergency information and the pre-departure verification step.
