Essential Readiness Review

Your foundational health and safety readiness snapshot.

The Essential Readiness Review answers one question honestly: if something happened today, is this program ready? It is a focused review of the health and safety systems most likely to matter in a real emergency, delivered with a leadership debrief and a written path forward.

Clinical review

Medication & Clinical Safety

Medication systems reviewed the way a nurse would review them.

Medication is where small process gaps become serious events. This review examines the full medication pathway, from the moment a provider plan arrives to the moment a staff member documents an administration, and the emergency medication your team may need with no warning at all.

Comprehensive systems review

Quality & Safety Deep Dive

A full systems review across every high-risk area.

The Deep Dive is the most complete review TamiaJoy's offers. It looks across readiness, medication, infection prevention, emergency planning, field trips and transportation, then connects the findings so leadership can see the pattern rather than a scattered list of items.

Ongoing partnership

Quality Improvement Partnership

Support that continues after the report is delivered.

Most programs do not fail because they lack a report. They stall because implementation competes with everything else a director does in a day. The Quality Improvement Partnership keeps the work moving, with a nurse consultant tracking progress alongside your team.

Policy and documentation

Medical Policy & Procedure Development

Clear, written policies and procedures built around your medical processes.

Programs are held to what they do, and what they do is only as strong as what is written down. This service develops and revises the policies, standard operating procedures and clinical process documentation your team actually works from, written in plain language by a nurse who understands how the work happens on the floor.

Screening coordination

Child Health Screening Services

Coordinated on-site screening, organized end to end.

Screening days succeed or fail on logistics. TamiaJoy's coordinates on-site child health screening services so the day runs calmly, the documentation is complete, and families receive clear follow-up communication afterward.

Training and validation

Staff Training & Competency

Training that ends in validated skill, not a sign-in sheet.

Attendance is not competency. Every TamiaJoy's training session ends in return demonstration, where each staff member performs the skill and a registered nurse validates it. Training topics are set within an agreed scope, aligned to the children actually enrolled in your program.

Care planning

Individual Health Needs Consultation

Care planning for the children who need the most planning.

When a child has asthma, a severe allergy, seizure disorder, diabetes, or any child hood illness, the difference between a good day and a crisis is preparation done in advance. This consultation builds the plan, the documentation and the staff readiness around that specific child.

How engagements are scoped

No two programs need the exact same review

Scope is set during discovery, based on the number of sites, the health needs of enrolled children, upcoming monitoring cycles and where leadership already knows there is risk. A single-site center administering daily medication needs a different scope than a multi-site Head Start network preparing for a federal review. The discovery conversation is where that scope gets defined in writing before any on-site work begins.

Not sure which service fits?

Start with a discovery conversation. Our nursing team will recommend a scope based on your program, not a one-size-fits-all package.
